YELLOW GOLD SCAPULAR CROSS

18kt yellow gold scapular cross pendant. The cross depicts the Sacred Heart of Jesus on its upper part, Saint Christopher on the right, Our Lady of Carmel on the left, the Miraculous medal on the bottom and the Holy Spirit in the center. The Scapular Cross is the evolution of the cloth Scapular, that has been used since 1200 as a distinctive symbol of the Carmelite order. In the early 1900s, Pope Pius X allowed the followers of the order to replace it with a medal containing all the symbols of the order.
