Tree of Life mosaic

Born in Rome in 1993 to an ancient noble family, she grew up surrounded by art in all its forms. She attended the DSR German School in Rome, during which she began to develop a passion for Roman art. She graduated from the Virgilio linguistic high school in Rome in 2012. In 2016, she graduated from Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna where she majored in Art, Music and Performing Arts at the faculty of Literature and Philosophy. She returned to Rome and began attending workshops at the Scuola del Mosaico. During this period, she was chosen by Elena Lo Presti and learned from her the artistic rudiments of spun micro-mosaic. Later, Ginevra Malatesta of Torredadria decided to learn the technique of traditional mosaic as well and mastered it successfully. Her love for this ancient art became a true passion she could no longer do without, which is why she made it her profession. She has carried out important restorations of mosaics in famous Roman palaces and churches. Despite her young age, she immediately reached an outstanding level of mastery of mosaic art, earning the trust of the Mondo Cattolico Art Gallery. Today, she works in the Gallery as a mosaicist (also giving demonstrations to the public) and for the Gallery as an art consultant. She lives and works in Rome. The works of Ginevra Malatesta di Torredadria can be found in private collections all over the world and are sold exclusively by Mondo Cattolico Art Gallery.
